  • Please join us for the Greater Detroit NSDA Support Group Meeting!

We will have a lively, animated panel discussion by two prominent physicians who treat SD. Dr Michael Rontal will present on the physiology of SD and Dr. Richard Trosch on the neurological manifestations of spasmodic dysphonia.

Dr. Rontal and Dr. Trosch plan to question and answer one another regarding the etiology of the disorder, the onset, diagnosis and treatment options. Both doctors will ask the questions you may have not thought of or were afraid to ask! The forum will also offer opportunities for you to ask questions as well.

The balance of the meeting time will be used to continue the group dialogue about the nature of the disease and its impact on the SD'er and family members. Certainly, in the past meetings we have seen how this forum provides an opportunity to share the frustrations and evolving journey of living with SD.
