    The University of Virginia’s Voice Center will hold its Fifth Annual World Voice Day celebration on Saturday, April 20th from 7:00-10:00 pm at The Front Porch. The featured performer this year is local singer-songwriter Erin Lunsford, with special guests including Adar, as well as Heather Hightower and Christina Fleming from The Center for Vocal Study, Beleza’s Madeline Holly-Sales, C-ville Circle Singing, and Voice Specialist Claire Ligon. The concert is FREE and open to the public.

    The mission of World Voice Day is to increase public awareness of the importance of vocal health and bring attention to the solutions the UVA Voice Team can provide when problems do arise. The UVA Voice Team includes Dr. James J. Daniero, and Voice Specialists Joanna Lott, Casey Resnick, and Nick Barone, Ph.D. The event is sponsored by the Curry School of Education and UVA's Voice & Swallowing Clinic within the Department of Otolaryngology--Head & Neck Surgery.
