This hard cover, beautifully illustrated book is about Pauper Bear who is a sad little teddy bear who longs to be loved. Prince Bear is a proud bear who loves himself. When their paths take different turns, the two bears discover that things do not happen as they expect. In the process, the two teddy bears come to experience love and friendship with new perspectives. This picture book is written for children from five years old and up, and also for younger children whose parents and guardians are reading with them. It has many themes which can appeal at several levels - love and charity towards others, having a heart to share with siblings & friends, going beyond appearances and also about second chances in life. This story was inspired by author Emily Lim's own personal struggles of coping with Spasmodic Dysphonia for the past nine years.
