The National Spasmodic Dysphonia Association utilizes a regional structure to help foster support. Volunteer Regional Coordinators play a vital role in this structure as they assist with the formation of new support groups and further expand existing ones by working with Support Group Leaders and Area Contact Persons. Further, the NSDA has appointed a Regional Coordinator Chairperson to work with the individual Regional Coordinators to ensure that the needs are being met in each region. Through this outreach, we hope to build a strong network for people living with Spasmodic Dysphonia. The regions for the United States and Canada are outlined below along with a listing of the current Regional Coordinators. Please feel free to e-mail the Coordinator in your region for more information about local activities. In addition, please check the Support Group directory to see if there is a group in your area. If there is not one in your area, why not consider starting one! The NSDA will be happy to assist you.
