For anyone interested, there is an article on the Medscape website in the Medline section entitled "Dyspnea Due to Vocal Cord Dysfunction and Other Laryngeal Sources" Dyspnea is the medical term for shortness of breath. The article is quite technical but should provide some insight for those of you suffering from shortness of breath as a result of SD - this is not the same thing as "breathiness" after botox. You will need to register with Medscape by creating a user name and password. You will then be able to read the article. Kim, Many sites on the Internet contain copyright material and it is illegal to make un-authorized copies for distribution. You might be able to order a transcript from the Medscape website, presumably at some small charge. Lloyd Pearson(BC) Canada AD/SD

Not as far as know - Medscape is a database of medical information and articles, available on the internet. It is a site primarily for physician's and should be quite safe to register with them and view the article. Lloyd Pearson(BC) Canada AD/SD
