Hi, I guess this has been an issue here previously, but bare with me, every case sure seems to be unique.

I had a Botox injection, I guess 2 units each side, last thursday. This was the second time I had the injection. It was a bit more difficult for me taking the shots then last time, but managed to go through it though. It's no fun getting these shots, but luckily it only takes a minute and you're done. Just the idea of someone messing about your throat is a turn-off, but this is life like for me nowadays. Gotta do what the good doctor orders.

I was told to use my voice right after the injection for the Botox the take full effect. After about two hours after the shots my voice was working superbly. No spasms, great voice, no straining. Boy, was I pleased with the ease of using my own voice! This lasted three days.

Sunday morning woke up and bang: my voice sounds like I'm having the flue. No spasms, no straining though. My voice seems like I've been sucking the helium out of ballon, Mickey Mouse kinda way. Guess this would Mickey sound with the flue, though a bit deeper and with no stamina in speaking. I assume this is what has previously described as "breathy" voice.

Last time around I had none of this breathiness factor. I dunno, no complaints really, just thought if there would be someone who had this happened to him/her, and whom would have the time to comment to this, like how long it took to lose the breathiness?
