Botox injections

I have vocal cord dysfunction which results in hoarseness, strained voice and breathing problems.I have had speech therapy which was helpful, but has not solved the problems. I especially have difficulty in noisy environments when i have to strain my voice. I am considering having Botox injections. can anyone give me any information about results, side effects, how often I would need it etc?
