Is "myomectomy" the exact name of the procedure you are referring to? I've heard of myotomies and myectomies (TA and PCA) but never a myomectomy. Which doctors and surgeons are you are working with, who might be proposing such a procedure? It's important to deal with the experts; and, many of these procedures are quite rare. Also, understandably, the terminology gets more complicated as the years go on and the docs get more willing to try various procedures for our disorder.
