Question on my type of SD-possibly a mixture???

Hi everyone, As I have continued to read everyone's stories and have had the opportunity to meet one fellow SD sufferer, I am beginning to have questions about my diagnosis. I was diagnosed with AD-SD by a highly qualified doctor. My voice (before botox) cut out on me constantly. I did have the straining sound but also spoke in a staccato. Everyone I talk with or hear with AD seems to only have the straining sound and always have trouble with vowels, where I tend to have trouble with consonants. My doctor mentioned that everyone is different, and the botox does seem to help quite a bit. Anyone have any comments??? Thanks for any info! Amelia, Minneapolis, SD-AD
