Can you drink coffee with SD?

I love coffee and used to drink about 4 cups a day. I had one doctor tell me it was okay as long as I had plenty of water. Another doctor told me not to drink it so I have not had any in over a month. Does anyone know if coffee or any other types of drinks or food affect SD? Barb

I know for a fact (over the past 12 years since I was diagnosed) that caffeine, spicy foods, fried foods, dairy products, chocolate and nuts have an adverse effect on my voice.
