Has anyone ever tried an Electrolarynx or any other handheld artificial larynx/voice enhancer for SD. They are used by people who have had a Laryngectomy and artificially vibrate the vocal muscles.

I worked for a company who sold artificial voice boxes, or the same item that you are talking about. Those were used by people who had their larynx removed. Our problem is different. At least mine is. I have spoken to many people who had this device. I have also spoken to people who sound like me, both AB and AD SD. Our problem is that are vocal cords either stay open or close when we are talking. I am sure that people have used microphones to help with their voices, or even phone devices, but I'm not sure about this. Go to the archives and search for the different types of things people have used.

Good Luck,
