this board is gloomier than the weather here in Indy...

or as Rodney Dangerfield said in Caddyshack--'the dance of the living dead'. It hasn't been the same since cowtongue was shipped off to the processing plant.

How udderly disrespectful of you to suggest that I've been turned into cheap hamburger.....Listen dude...I'm 100%grade A prime beef and would not think of disappearing without at least a parting bellow. I plan to be out in that 'ole pasture a long, long time...and you can bet your hooves on that. OFTEN IMMITATED, NEVER REPLICATED.....THE ONE, THE ONLY............... COWTONGUE.

Guys,

If this is a challenge from you all in Indiana and Pennsylvania to keep this place hopping, I'm game. I'm working on a new BB post now to (hopefully) get people cogitating. Or, are you Midwest/Eastern folks challenging those of us in the West? What do you mean by gloomy, Gavin?...depressing stuff on SD or what? The analyst in me asks again.

BTW, the weather here in Northern California (SF Bay Area) is superb this week. Totally non-gloomy (uncharacteristically so)! 70F and clear every day. The trees actually started blooming the end of January; and, for once, the AT&T Pro-Am was not rained out this year.

But I'm in sunny Florida so the only "gloom" is the lack of a clear voice. Otherwise, the weather is sunny and warm - tennis is good. What else (if you can't talk loud) is there? John

We all vote to come to Florida for tennis, getting together, and just hanging out for a few days. Sounds wonderful to me. You name the time, line up the courts, reserve the eating establishments and "the group will come". (lol)

Well thanks a lot John and Lynne for rubbing our noses in the great weather thing. The sun makes rare appearances here this time of year.

I hate to put my two cents in, because I really don't know ya'll(a little Texas slang), but the weather in Austin's been GREAT. But I'm originally from Pittsburgh, so I know about lousy winter weather. Renee

My, my, my.....we have been busy little beavers here, haven't we. Must be the refined air that we breathe on this board that keeps us soooooo sedated. I haven't had this much fun since I watched Gavin watching paint dry(oil base). Btw, I could go for a good Tongue sandwich.....hmmmm.

I definitely feel like a "MADCOW" sometimes...especially when I don't get all of the damn cookies out of those temporary files. I think I would much prefer my old H.S. nickname "MADTONGUE".
