I've had the same question. You just beat me to the BB with it. Drinking a lot of water helps. So do hard candy and cough drops. It's worse when I talk too much, so I've tried to limit that.I had a BOTOX treatment about a week ago. The soreness is right where the injection was. I hope that's normal.
I hope there will be more ideas. I'll be watching.

I used to have dry mouth dry throat and was thirsty all the time. This is one symptom of diabetes, but I don't have diabetes. I kept trying different supplements and as I started feeling better and more optimistic generally, the dry mouth and thirst went away. I think the real turning point for me was the Brain Link Complex. My voice is getting more "body" to it. People who haven't seen me for a while say "Your voice is better." I read that stress disrupts the amino acid balance in your body, and the Brain Link Complex has many amino acids, including GABA which fights depression. I had had a very stressful year before my voice went. I really think my system was just all out of whack.
This has been my experience. Hope you find something that is relevant to you.
