purple monkeys

This message has nothing to do about purple monkeys, or any animals for that matter; it was just my attention getter. I'm really just looking for someone to talk to. I'm 16 years old and have had spasmodic dysphonia for the past 2 and 1/2 years. I would really like just to chat with someone who understands what I'm going through, because nobody does. My SD just makes my feel so frustrated and hopeless, and I feel all alone. So please write me an e-mail, anyone! It would really help me out more than you could know! My address is noniemoos@usa.net thanks!! :)

Wassa...
Thank you all for your suggestions. I'll try some. About it being genetic, I can hear that. My mom has always had a softer but not always quiet voice. It is like a raspy or airy quality sometimes. But it's interesting. My sister isn't a loudmouth herself. Ah well...

Is it just me, or do most people sound basically the same? I mean, we look different so why do sound the same? So what if they're loud, they're ordinary. I like to hear a unique voice and most of you probably have them. SD really uniques the voice especially on a good day. Funky sounds with an SD voice when you sing, how's that for a silver lining?

Take care and good luck, STEPH

Dear Wendy,
My name is Stephanie Yaro, not Stephan or Stephen...I'm not a guy!
No way. I don't like to play cards, in fact I just know Spit and
Crazy 8's (and I might even forget them!) But I do like art, choir
and animals ("babies"-I call the cats that!)Nice meeting you Wendy,
Good luck and God bless!
STeph
