Well, I just noticed the link to the chatroom here. Does anyone go on it? It would be nice to communicate more directly.

I have gone into the chat room a few times and there is never anyone there. It is possible to set a time each day or week and post it on the bulletin board if people are interested.

I've copied and pasted below the information on the WE MOVE chat room as well as the information on the AOL VoicesChat Group. For more details on Online Support, visit the NSDA website at: www.dysphonia.org under "support" under "online support".

WE MOVE Chat Room
WE MOVE Chat Room for Spasmodic Dysphonia: A chatroom specifically for SD people has been set up on the WE MOVE web site. This is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All that is required is a web-browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape. The link is http://www.wemove.org/chat.html

AOL VoicesChat Group
The AOL Chat Groups are held on Sundays at 4:00 p.m. EST. To participate in these chats, use AOL and click "People Connection." Click "List Chats." Click "Private Rooms." Type "Voices." Click "Go" and you will be in the chat room. Doris White (DORISMA2@aol.com)coordinates the chats and can be contacted for more information.

Sincerely,
