After getting botox injections, does anyone have hoarseness like larngitis? I got botox in my left side for SD 2 weeks ago and it isn't any better today than when I first got it. It started 2 days after the shot. |

Yes I get it on my left side. I get hoarsness and laryngitis for up to 6 weeks.
1.25 unilateral left side for adductor |

If it's a good injection, I'm breathy about the third day for about a week and often sound a little like Minnie Mouse for about 2 weeks. Then it's wonderful when my normal voice comes back for at least 2 months. I get 1.75 both sides for AD and love forgetting I have a vocal cord problem during those months, I feel so relaxed and can instantly reply to anything and tend to talk a lot to people. My injections are every 3 months. Last one, last week, was not successful. Must have hit the wrong spot, anxious to get in there ASAP for another injection, so I can feel normal again! |
