headaches & blurry vision

I received my Botox shots 3 weeks ago. I started with a headache, blurry vision and really bad sore throat(spitting blood) and ear aches. This happened all of a sudden 3 days ago. Also a feeling of weakness in my body and mild dizziness, but all of this it is going away, it's less today. I do not have the flu. I am a healthy person.
I do get a headache and feel like if I have a cold or flu coming on after my Botox shot, but it only last about a week, and about 3 days of insomnia, then I am okay and ready for my Botox in another 3 or 4 months
My voice started to come back about 1 week after the Botox and now it is beginning to sound bad again.

Is it better to get the botox shots when my voice is bad again or should I receive the shot when the Botox starts wearing out and my voice is starting bad again? Can any one tell me their experience.

Can anyone tell me if the surgery is covered by any institution or association? I have no insurance and lost my job.

Has anyone experience anything similar?

Having flu-like symptoms immediately after an injection is a well known side effect. If its been 3 weeks and you're just feeling ill now, I'd say something else is causing it. Symptoms such as headaches and blurry vision are something you should call your doctor about right away.

If you have a bad injection, from my own personal experience, I'd say wait until the botox wears off again. I went too soon once and ended up being over-injected and things went really down hill. But again... call your dr and stick with your instincts. If you feel like something isn't right, then it probably isnt.

Hope you feel better.

Lori

Hi Lori, I am feeling much better, but with the headaches, I do plan to have a blood test.

Can you tell me when you went back too soon for your Botox, did your voice(quality)last longer or is it better to go when it seems it's going down hill? My voice sounds good for 3 months then it starts breaking up again. I usually go every 4 months for my Botox.

I've had the shot miss twice in 10 years, and I get 15 units at a time, and have never had these symptoms. Maybe go to the county hospital where you don't need insurance and get some blood work done, but I'm not a Dr., so it's just a suggestion.

Speed.

Thank you for your advise,I do plan to check my blood.
Every time I get my shots, I do feel like my inmune system goes down. I feel very tired and almost alway get a really bad cold along with headaches but it's worth it. I can speak for another 3 or 4 months.

Can any one tell me about how much does this surgery cost?
I have had SD since 1992 I've been in and out of jobs. I can only get temp jobs. Employers do discriminated, there are legal ways that the do it and they can get away with it.
Most of my interviewers have always notice my voice.

I have never given up but it is frustrating to know you have to work extra hard at work because of this disorder. I have not been able to keep any job.
