TTY / TDD is a technology created for people that are (hearing impaired) ie. deaf, it enables them to communicate with others via the telephone. Question have any SD people experimented with this type of technology, please share your opinion and results. Obviously this would not be an aid for people that are helped by Botox.
I view this perhaps as an alternate means of communication. Related link: http://communication.howstuffworks.com/hearing-impaired-telephones2.htm |

I personally have not used this technology, but I've been in contact with people who do use it and love it as it amplifies their voices. There is also another system whereby you can type in your message and an operator will relay the message. Every state is probably different but the ones I've heard about are free through a special program with the telephone company. Irish |

you just type what you want and the relay operato reads the
message to the other person. Good luck |

It is a great way to communicate you don't have to strain
your voice. I use my tty device to talk to my dad. We are very close it is upsetting when you can't communicate. Good luck |
