| Botox injections while taking methotrexate |  | ||

Does anyone know if you can still get botox injections while taking methotrexate? I was just diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and began a treatment using methotrexate. You cannot have live virus injections while taking it, but I'm not sure about the botox. |

Hi. I would suggest you ask your doctor, rather than getting medical advice here, unless possibly someone is taking the same meds and knows about this. Truth is, everyone reacts different to botox, and probably my first suggestion is best. Good luck! |

This is a very tough question that you may not get answered on this board. You might well ask your ENT to contact the makers of the Botox and ask them. |
