So I've been sick for over 3 years, dizziness, brain fog, fatigue...with NO answers. After 1.5 yrs of this, I developed ABSD. Well deep down in my heart, I knew that whatever medical condition I had, caused ABSD and if I could treat the problem, then maybe my SD will go away. Well I have FINALLY been diagnosed with lyme disease as well as mold toxicity. Once I am through with the treatments, I will update everyone to let you know if I see any improvement with my voice. If you are having other symptoms as well, it perhaps could be a medical condition that caused your SD as well and maybe could be fixed? We'll see! Send me good thoughts! |

Hi Kiwi, Very interesting. Over the years I've heard about a lot of conditions regarding people who have SD and later they get diagnosed with something else. Recently I heard from a woman who thought she had SD, but she actually had a birth defect at the top of her spine that cause the voice problems, so you never know. Sorry that you are having so many medical problems. Sounds like you've been exposed to a lot. Have they done MRIs or scans on you? |

Yes, I have had every type of testing you can imagine. It wasn't until I found this amazing doctor that I found answers. The dozens of doctors I saw either said "I dont know what is wrong with you" or "there is nothing wrong with you". It is such a disappointment to see the breakdown of our medical system. |

I agree with you. My mom had intestinal cancer and it took 2 years to diagnose that. She also had MS and that took 30 years. There have been many advances since then, but we have a long way to go. |
