Hi folks

I am ADSD for a few years now.

I have noticed that during a cold or flu the spasms reduce somewhat if not completely. I was not sure if it was the flu itself or the medications.

Recently I was given a prescription of Danzen which is basically Serra-peptidase / serratiopeptidase enzyme for my sore throat. I have noticed reduced vocal spasms for the duration of prescription.

Anybody tried these before?

When you have the flu or a cold, your vocal chords become swollen. It might decrease the spasms. Check these posts in

I looked up Serra-peptidase online and see it is an enzyme being used for pain relief. That means it is not in the same class as detromethorphan, a cough suppressant.

Is this peptidase enzyme available over the counter?

Hi

I researched a bit on the internet as well.
It is a natural enzyme found in the intestines of silkworms and mainly used as anti-inflammatory.
Notably some cerebral palsy patients claim to have gained benefits as well.
I noticed it is usually available as health supplements. I am not sure if it is available over the counter.
