I have been struggling with my voice for 6 years & have only managed to get a diagnosis of SD from a specialist in the past 12 months after seeking a second opinion years after the first opinion. For many years I thought my problems were psychological. I have never met anyone else with SD & would love to communicate with anyone in Australia who is willing. I haven't even discussed the diagnosis with my family, so I'm feeling very isolated at the moment. Just need to talk with someone else who understands what I'm going through. Thanks :) |
