Narelle,Good Luck on your surgery. I had my tonsils taken out at age 35 and boy was it tough. It did help my SD for about a year. You'll do fine, it will be tough for a little while, but I am sure you've been through worse surgeries. God Bless, Jan
Narelle - I'll be thinking good thoughts for you on Thursday!
Have you ever heard the Bill Cosby comedy routine about getting his tonsils out as a kid? (Cosby is internationally known, yes?) Anyway, he was told that after the surgery he could have all the ice cream that he wanted! And he went around singing (pre-surgery) "Ice cream. I'm gonna have ice cream. I'm gonna have it in the middle of the night. Ice cream. I'm gonna have ice cream." "You know what I'm gonna do?" he asked one of the other kids. "I'm gonna take that chocolate ice cream, and I'm gonna smear it all over my body. Then I'm going to put a cherry on my belly button. And I'll be the baddest chocolate sundae you've ever seen in your life!"
So there's a picture you can have of yourself as you go into surgery!
I wish you well (and all the ice cream you can eat), Robin
