I'm assuming many of you are familiar with the name Chip Hanauer. He is featured on the NSDA video, and was big in the hydroplane boat racing circuit for many years as a driver. Anyhoo, I happen to live in a city where hydroplane boat races are held every July and a relative of mine who was in town for the races and had a cup of coffee with Chip one morning before the races began. My relative seemed to think from his chat with Chip that Chip had had surgery. I realize it might've been quite easy for my relative to confuse Botox injections for surgery, but it did make me wonder if he had actually undergone surgery. I looked through a few pages of posts on this BB, as well as did a search, and saw no reference to this. So, anyone know anything?
