Does anyone have a mixed SD. I have had 7 injections with little response,and had another injection this past week. I understand that it is very hard to treat patients with mixed SD. I am now off work for two months trying to get my voice striaighten out. Has anyone else had problems with this? |

I've never heard my doctor say exactly what kind I have, but I think I have both. My voice spasms, words are broken up, plus I have trouble getting air through, so I was whispering in order to get smooth speech. Now, after two botox injections, 9/17 and 12/17, my speech is very breathy, soft, but it is smoother; but i'm having trouble swallowing. Does that sound like what you have. I think I have both.
