Hello everyone, well my visit to NIH was not the best. I still have a very rapid heart beat, and did wish to submit to xylocaine. The nurse at NIH was very concerned, which really made wonder if something else was going on. The same thing had occured three other times within the past month. So I decided to email my advice nurse, they called, I went to see my doctor.. Needless to say my ekg was rapid, had changed dramatically, so I am now on heart meds. The meds have not really made a difference, I am going for an echo in January of my heart. As a nurse I find all this alittle daunting. But I wonder if anyone else out there in the ether has had any thing spring up while the SD was going on. I would assume since the heart is also a muscle that it could be related to SD and not some other organic problems. You can email privately which would be quicker for me to hear from someone since I don't always get on the board. But I anxiously await any input from anyone during the holidays. Happy Christmas, Jean Phelps
