I was just curious how old some of you were when you were diagnosed with SD? I was diagnosed in Oct. 2002 but have had "voice problems" for 5 1/2-6 years. I am 29-years-old and the ENT who diagnosed me said I was the youngest person he's ever seen with it. I first noticed the "change" in my voice about 6 weeks after the birth of my son 6 years ago. Does anyone know if having symptoms so young (I was 23 at the time of his birth) will cause my voice further decline than if I hadn't had any symptoms until later in life? I hope this makes sense.
