There are some oral medications that interfere with a perm 'taking'. Those are usually in the antibiotic classification. I wouldn't think there would be a connection or a problem with the Botox injections since the Botox is injected into the muscle(s) to stop spasm(s). Botox wouldn't be a drug that would spread throughout the body so to speak.

Hope that helps.

Anne

I've never had a perm, but I remember the odor of them from when my mom and my ex-wife got perms. There are certain odors that make me gasp and choke--lighter fluid (for charcoal), ammonia and bleach are three that come to mind. I stay away from those. I also use low VOC paints in my home. Maybe it's my imagination, but these strong odors seem to retard SD "healing" for me. So I'd never get near a perm session. Larry

Let me stick my 2 cents worth in. I had my last botox shot in May and this was my second shot. My first shot didn't do a bit of good. Well after the botox shot I decided to go have a perm. Needless to say I was pleased with both.
